The Subcoal® process technology is proven on commercial scale at the SmurfitKappa paper mill in Roermond (the Netherlands).
In this SmurfitKappa paper mill approximately 30.000 tons paper rejects are converted into app. 16.000 tons high-quality fuel pellets (with the trade name Rofire®). This facility has been operating succesfully as of 2000. For more information, please visit www.rofire.com.
